I had so much fun putting this outfit together! I’ve worn this polka dot button-down only once before with a black maxi skirt, when I was going for a vintage-inspired look. After leaving it in the closet for about a year and a half, I finally pulled it out earlier this week and thought to myself, “This will look pretty kickass with boots!” Then again… what doesn’t? Polka dots tone down and add a little fun into what would otherwise be a pretty Rocker Chick-ish ensemble. Accents of red in the form of a headscarf and lip colour were just what I needed to pull the entire look together. Another part of me was screaming “Use pink! Use pink!” as I was getting ready… but I guess I’ll leave that colour combination for another time 😉

Ah! Hahaha I know that feel… and I’m so particular about the colours and materials that I use so it’s so difficult for me lol. I got some of mine from this stall in the corner of the Geylang Market on the second floor, I’m not sure if they are still there though… I also get them from this store on the first floor of Golden Landmark Shopping Centre! It’s pretty big and it carries all sorts of scarves of many different colours and materials. I’m sorry I don’t remember its name, but it’s a pretty large store so it’ll be difficult to miss!
