Nothing feels quite as amazing as waking up past 9am and not having to worry about being late for the next class… the hell weeks are over and I’m welcoming the holidays with open arms! It’s great to be going out and catching up with friends, instead of staying in and working on ten different assignments due within days of each other.

For my most recent look, I paired a red-and-blue floral kimono cardigan with some blush-coloured palazzo pants. To avoid an overly girly getup, I chose to wear a black/dark brown headscarf over a red one to balance out the blush. I am very fond of loose, drapey silhouettes, and I’m glad I managed to achieve that without having the outfit look too sloppy. I suppose the clean drape and structure of both pieces made the whole outfit look more put together, as compared to, say, an oversized button-down with some baggy trousers. (Though I’m pretty sure you can make the latter work as well, with the right colours and styling!)

I absolutely love this look. Your palazzo pants are gorgeous and the whole look goes together so nicely!
