Over the long CNY weekend, my extended family and I took a short three-day trip to Batam where we had the most amazing time (as documented on my Instagram account). It was a well-needed getaway and a good break from all the madness of a copywriting intern’s life. I managed to snap this lazy outfit in between swims and sea activities – I packed light and kept my outfits simple and breezy so I could move around easily yet stay fresh under the sun. This black blouse is my go-to lazy top while these drawstring pants are a recent find from the sale rack at Forever 21. I’ve been very into the whole joggers/drawstring pants trend lately, I do hope that it’ll be around for quite some time because these pants are the most comfiest things! I pulled the outfit together with a bright pink crossbody – a gift from a friend many years ago from Cambodia. It’s always useful to have a statement piece to style your looks around when you’re away from home!
