    Vienna Photo Diary

“Soon” was never meant to mean “2 weeks”, but some time was needed for post-trip recovery and (sigh) examination matters. Spring magic and good friends help to alleviate the back-to-school blues now that the final trimester is in session, which, unfortunately, also means that this is the last term I will be spending abroad before I head back to Singapore.

Spring is in the air and it makes me so happy whenever I head out and see flowers and green everywhere. It makes me even happier that I can now read Spring-related fashion articles and totally get what they are talking about – yay to new outfit ideas!

As promised, here are some snaps from the beautiful city of Vienna. Everything about the city was so magical, I’ll definitely be back.

    Budapest Photo Diary

I have been extremely busy the past few weeks working on school-related projects and assignments, therefore, my momentary absence. Thankfully, the term has ended which means… helloooo, Spring Break!

Here are some snaps from a few days in Budapest. I’m currently blogging from Vienna so do look out for my Vienna post, which will be up soon! Vienna is so beautiful, I’m thankful that the weather here has been kind to us. (The same can’t be said for Budapest – it was sunny and warm when we arrived but the next day was terrifyingly cold, which caught us off-guard.)

    Layering up

“Winter is just going to get worse.”

I’ve probably had about ten different people telling me the same thing since I landed in the Netherlands two weeks ago. Granted, I’ve had bad days (and even worse nights) when I start to yearn for a little Singapore sunshine but we haven’t seen any snow yet, so it’s all good… for now.

The past few days were sunny and beautiful. A sweater was still essential, but I didn’t have to lug my heavy coat around like I would have done on a regular, gloomy day. I snagged this light trench coat from a flea market in Singapore, as I did with these blue high-waisted corduroys.
